One of the many joys of our work is hearing from folks how Hen House works for them, especially parents. We've heard many moms and dads comment on the pleasure their children receive when our linens are introduced in their homes. Children love the color. (No great mystery there, but wait, there is more!)
Katherine and I noticed early on that choosing the napkin colors worked as a nice reward for setting the table. In our houses full of sons, apparently it is hilarious to stick your brother with a pink napkin. At our friend Robin and Jen’s house, daughters showcase their design skills. However, regardless of who is setting the table, we also found that a set table demands decorum.
Katherine and I are passionate about bringing people back to the table. Who knew it could be so much fun for the little people gathering with you.
