This centerpiece will be transferred to an outside planter in a few weeks when I am sure the last of the cold is behind us.
My local garden center is getting new plants in daily. Bright, beautiful annuals, blooming hydrangeas, and fragrant herbs. For this rustic centerpiece, I went with the herbs. I simply selected plants I love to grow (spearmint, fennel, dill, Italian parsley and sage). Since these plants will be transferred to the ground in a week or two, I planted them directly in this sturdy box made of reclaimed barn wood. The simple addition of greens to my already colorful tablecloth is all I needed to round out this table setting.
